Claire Hughes Johnson, Stripe’s former COO, is one of the best operators out there. And the good news for all of us is that we’ll get to hear from her. She also recently wrote “Scaling People,” her manual for the actual, tactical frameworks and processes that you’re going to need as you scale.

I’ve always been amazed at how much you can learn when you talk to people who have actually done it before, and Claire is a great example of this.

I’m excited to chat with Jess about a few things: How has Sequoia been advising founders to navigate the current market? What goes into a good board/founder partnership? What does fundraising look like today for early-stage and late stage startups? Where is the fundraising market going over the 6-12 months? 1-2 years? How has the macro impacted what Sequoia looks for in potential investments, if at all?
