Financial projections

What are financial projections?

Financial projections are forecasts of a company's future financial performance based on its historical data, market trends, and management's assumptions. They typically include projected income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

These projections are an integral part of the business planning process. They help companies to plan for the future, secure funding, and monitor actual financial performance against expected results. However, they're based on assumptions and therefore subject to uncertainty.
