What are financial statements?

Financial statements are written records that convey the business activities and the financial performance of a company. The key financial statements include the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.

Financial statements provide an overview of a company's profitability, financial position, and cash flows. They are used by a variety of stakeholders - including shareholders, creditors, employees, and regulatory authorities - to understand the company's financial health and make informed decisions.
